On March the 2nd Hoffman Boston celebrated the 20th anniversary of NEA’s Read Across America! Read Across America is a nationwide reading celebration that takes place on Dr. Seuss’s birthday. We invited a number of community leaders as guest readers to get students excited about reading.
BalletNova Center for Dance has initiated a new community outreach program in 2016-2017 called MOVE. The program was piloted by Ms. Spellman’s 4th grade students during gym class. MOVE uses dance as a catalyst to empower students and motivate them towards excellence.
Our fabulous 5th graders have completed their Legacy Project. This year, they worked in collaboration with local artist, Kevin Reese to design and create a sculpture that is displayed in the front lawn of our school.
