Hello! I am very excited to be at Hoffman Boston Elementary this year as a third grade teacher. We have an amazing third grade team and together we will have an awesome school year!

I have been teaching for about 25 years. I have a teaching license in New Jersey for Kindergarten through eighth grade and a teaching license in Virginia for Pre-K through sixth grade. I started teaching in Public schools in New Jersey. However, I have spent most of my career in Private Schools. I taught Kindergarten for 9 years, Pre-K & Preschool for 5 years and I spent about 6 years as a Preschool Director. I have also worked every summer as a camp director for children ages 4-12 years old. During the 2019-2020 school year I moved to Arlington and substituted at Oakridge Elementary.

I live in Arlington with my husband of 10 years Richard, my two sons Evan and Ethan, and our cat Buddy. My sons go to Oakridge Elementary. Ethan is in second grade and Evan is in third grade. We love to watch movies and play games together.

I love to read books! I love Dr. Suess books, Pete the Cat books, and books about animals, but my favorite book is still “The Monster at the End of This Book” with Sesame Street. I know it might be a little kid book, but it still makes me laugh every time I read it!
