I am so excited to be a Hoffman-Boston (HFB) All-Star!
As an Instructional Technology Coordinator and Coach, I collaborate with both staff and students as they develop healthy Digital Citizenship and problem-solving skills. Through this collaboration, we all learn to use Educational Technology to enhance education through curiosity and creativity.
Before coming to HFB, I was a lab scientist, as well as a science teacher. In fact, I taught Biology, Earth Science, Astronomy, Environmental Science, Ecology, Genetics, and Zoology for 14+ years. I have a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Forensic Science from Christopher Newport University. Additionally, I have a M.Ed. in Instructional Leadership and Administration from Grand Canyon University.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, exercising, cooking/baking, knitting, crocheting, sewing, bowling, and practicing martial arts. I also LOVE sports. Being from Ohio, my teams are THE Ohio State University Buckeyes, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Cleveland Browns. I also love our local teams! Go Caps and Nats!
