Steve Torres

Steve Torres is entering his 5th year at Hoffman-Boston as a Health and Physical Education Teacher. 2021-2022 will be his 16th year of teaching overall, with a majority of his time spent inside the classroom as a 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade teacher. Mr. Torres is a native of New York, and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Teacher Education from SUNY Old Westbury, and his Master’s Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Stony Brook University. He is a firm believer that having a growth mindset is crucial to achieving success in both the classroom and on the court or field. You can catch him most weekends playing adult league baseball, or at home rooting for his beloved New York Mets!
