On Friday, December 9th students from Pre-K to 5th grade were learning to code as part of the “Hour of Code,” a nationwide campaign to get students interested in computer science. Apps like Kodable, Lightbot, Daisy the Dinosaur and Angry Birds were used to teach basic computer coding. The more experienced students were given a challenge to program a robot, animate their name or create an interactive story using Scratch. The goal was for students to enjoy science.
